Dantherm Cooling was proud to host the Continuous Improvement Team Leaders at Crown, along with their lean manufacturing consultants, Jim Benson and Tonianne DeMaria, co-authors of Personal Kanban: Mapping Work | Navigating Life.
During their visit, we provided a tour of our visual factory, highlighting the “Dantherm Cooling Arena” our central communications hub that directs all movement on our production floor. The Arena, modeled after the Personal Kanban methodology, enhances workflow transparency and efficiency, reinforcing our commitment to continuous improvement.
Alongside team members Chelsie Lipsey, Robbie Branch and Shane York, our guests also participated in Dantherm’s internal “White Belt” Lean Simulation training, which demonstrates how Lean principles, when applied together, create a highly efficient production system. This hands-on experience showcases how reducing waste and fostering a Kaizen culture empowers our associates to embrace change and drive operational excellence.
We appreciate the opportunity to exchange ideas with such a knowledgeable group of Lean professionals and look forward to continued collaboration. Thank you to Crown and our distinguished guests for an insightful and engaging visit!
