Spartanburg, SC, 07/24/2025 – Dantherm Cooling is excited to welcome Sean Arends as the new Plant Manager for their facility. Sean has over ten years of experience in managing manufacturing operations. He has a passion and focus on implementing process improvements and developing strong, highly performing teams.
When asked what attracted him to the Plant Manger role at Dantherm, Sean shared that he sees the opportunity to increase Dantherm’s production capabilities and take its production department to the next level in efficiency and operational excellence. In his first year, Sean plans to fully evaluate operations beginning with facility improvements and optimization of the plant floor. He’ll also work to improve team collaboration by working directly with team leaders to identify issues while empowering them to recommend solutions. To ensure a strong workforce that is ready to serve Dantherm’s customers, a priority will be placed on strengthening the operational force by emphasizing employee development, strengthening processes and SOPs, bolstering training programs and utilizing strategic approach to recruiting.
Sean’s leadership approach is centered around operational excellence, safety, and team development through open and direct communication. “My goal is to bring everyone to the table and ensure that all personnel understand the company’s goals and objectives” Sean shared. He aims to bridge the gap between management and employees and believes that by taking care of his team, they will be empowered to take exceptional care of Dantherm’s customers.
