Spartanburg, SC, 8/18/2025 – Dantherm Cooling is excited to announce Ken Swenson as our new Vice President. Previously serving as our Senior Mechanical Engineer, Ken played a pivotal role in Dantherm’s rapid product development contributing to manufacturing over 40 new products in the past five years. He is eager to evolve as an engineering leader within the company and leverage his engineering and military experience to continue to drive the company forward.
In his new role, Ken has prioritized initiatives that focus on both team development and operational efficiency. A comprehensive, self-driven training plan has already been implemented, and he plans to enhance the program to maximize benefits for the associates. Additionally, Ken plans to lead efforts to strengthen internal production by introducing a new press brake and bringing other key operations to be done in-house. These strategic moves are designed to help maintain Dantherm’s high standards of efficiency and quality, while reducing lead times for their valued customers.
Ken’s leadership approach will be centered around the idea of leading from the front. He firmly believes in never asking his team to do something he has not done or is unwilling to do. “The team has seen me working beside them with my hands dirty, and this goes a long way. I have never been afraid of a challenger or putting in the work, and this helps to rally the team and all work towards our goals better,” explains Ken Swenson. His approach not only earns respect but also fosters a strong sense of unity and shared purpose. He wants to take advantage of strong team collaboration to reinforce the company’s operational excellence.
